Milestones and transitions mark the close of the school year. On Saturday, we celebrated our graduates and their accomplishments with a commencement ceremony of worship and thanksgiving to God.
Take a look at some photos and videos from this special and meaningful day where we celebrated our Logic and Rhetoric level graduates:
Kathryn, an R3 graduate, created this video of our four graduating seniors. What a beautiful expression of what CC means to our students!

The CC Leadership Team: Stephanie, Jen, and Jennifer. Today was especially meaningful as two of them had children graduating from the Logic and Rhetoric levels.
The Commencement Speech was given by Michael Jones, a 2015 CC Alumnus and current student at New Saint Andrews College. He exhorted our students to honor their parents as they move into this next phase of life. We also heard speeches from an L2 graduate and R3 graduate who encouraged their classmates to live out their identities as children of the Most High King.
R3's Rebecca, Lauren, and Kathryn performed "What a Beautiful Name" accompanied by Alissa, R4 Graduating Senior.
L2 Graduate Madison performed "Trust in You" by Lauren Daigle
Each graduate received a personal blessing from their parents. These included praise for their academic accomplishments, meaningful Scripture verses, and encouragement in their future endeavors.
After each graduate was recognized, they were congratulated by Mrs. Burns and their parents
Hearing parents share their blessings and exhortations for their children brought tears to the audience's eyes
Lydia and Eliza, R4 graduates, addressed the student body in a joint graduation speech. Their speech reflected on their years at CC and how it shaped them relationally, spiritually, and academically. Their closing line was a quote from Winnie the Pooh: “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
When each graduate was called to the stage, the audience saw a photo montage and listened to their parents share memories and speak words of encouragement about their academic and spiritual growth through their time at CC.
Moving of the tassels: The R4 class is officially graduated from Classical Consortium Academy and High School!
Graduating Class of 2017: Eliza, Alissa, Julia, Lydia. We are so proud of you and what God is doing in your lives!!!
We did it! Excitement and joy shines in our graduates' faces.
"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26 (ESV)
As a CC community, we are profoundly grateful to God for all that he has done in and through our school this year.
May all of you have a wonderful summer enjoying His blessings!
