Classical Consortium hosted our annual Showcase Night last Friday which celebrated our students and what God is doing through our homeschool program. The night was filled with student artwork, recitations, videos and skits that presented what students have been learning this school year for family and friends. Let's take a peak at some highlights of the evening.
Mrs. Ricci's Latin A and B students sang "If you're happy and you know it..." in Latin.
Students in our Grammar level chanted their Bible memory verses.
G1 and G2 history went on a time travel adventure to visit Michelangelo, King Henry VIII, the Pilgrims, and Martin Luther.
Classical Composition students shared their best writing, including both poems and essays.
The 7th grade Omnibus class filmed a game show video
G2 Literature students re-enacted Don Quixote's battles with windmills
Mrs. Caterer and her G3 students presented a silly version of their literature class.
Spanish IV students put on a skit connecting the Gospel to Star Wars
After almost twenty presentations, Mrs. Burns closed the evening by recognizing our graduates and teachers. Then everyone moved to the fellowship hall where student projects and artwork were on display (as well as dessert!).
Below is a clickable photo gallery of some of our students' artwork. Art: Color and Art: Drawing students show such creativity!
Thank you to all of our students, parents, and teachers for your hard work this year! It was a blessing to see your creativity on display this evening.
