Enrichment Activities

Our desire is to foster the organization of clubs, teams, social gatherings, field trips and service opportunities that enrich the families involved with C.C.

The Classical Consortium is affiliated with H.E.A.R.T. (Homeschool Enrichment Achieved Respectfully Together). H.E.A.R.T. is a nine-month, weekly program for homeschooled children from kindergarten through 8th grade. For kindergarten through fourth grade students, H.E.A.R.T. supplements the teaching they receive at home through qualified instruction in the areas of art, science, Spanish, music or drama and physical education.  In addition, students are exposed to a wide variety of other subjects during month-long unit studies taught by parent volunteers. Sixth through eighth grade students receive teaching in the areas of physical education, Spanish, speech and debate, music or drama, fine art or woodworking, and home economics or strategic games. Thirty minute private and semi-private instrument instruction is also available.
